This Photo Tapestry Tote Bag is made from two woven tapestries which provide stunning detail in the final product. After the tapestries are woven, we sew them to each side of a canvas tote bag.

The Tapestry Photo Tote Bag can be done in either a landscape or portrait format, however, photos that are in a portrait (up/down) format work best.

Artist: Each tapestry is woven specially for you in our US Based Factory. It is made from a Soft 100% Cotton Yarn. The image is not printed on but is actually woven into a tapesrty.
Will it fade? Tapestries will not fade or loose their color even after repeated washings.
Washing Instructions: We recommend dry cleaning the tapestries.

Shipping: The Personalized Photo Tapestries are shipped directly from the factory to the Ship To address you provide. They will be shipped via UPS regardless of the method of shipping you select for the other products in your order. Rush shipping, if selected above, means that we will rush it through the production schedule to ship it out in less than the normal time it takes to produce an order. Delivery times are based on the time from when we receive all photos and copy. Please use email or use the Photo Upload Tool to send us your photo if time is critical. Corrections or Cancellations: Due to the personalized nature of our items, all sales are final once we begin processing your order. After you place your on-line order you will receive a confirmation receipt with all of your order details emailed to you. Please review your order details and confirm that they are correct. If something is not correct, you must contact us to let us know within 24 hours. Please contact us or call us at 803-485-1544. There is no cost to make corrections prior to production of your items.
Returns or Replacements: Customer's are responsible for errors made in the order (see corrections above). Please review your personalization details fully prior to adding the item to your cart. Error's made by our staff will be corrected, free of charge. Please notify us via email. A replacement will be sent per the original order. No changes to the order will be allowed for replacements. Replacement requests due to damage during shipping must be reported within 48 hours of receipt. Replacements will be handled on a case by case basis.
Age: This product is great for all ages, both young and old.
What kind of photos are best to use on a Personalized Photo Tapestries? Any photo will work - black & white or color. But keep in mind, the better the photo, the better the finished tapestry. A clear (in focus) photo is necessary. We will notify you if the quality of the photo prohibits making a great quality tapestry.
Photo Orientation: We will compose your photo to fill the tapestry as completely as possible. Usually if your photo is a portrait then the tapestry will be made in a vertical format. If the photo is a landscape, it will be made in a horizontal format.
Contrast: The main subject of the photo should be different in color and contrast then the background of the photo (i.e. - it is difficult to see a black dog sitting on a black sofa in a dark room). If the background is a similar color and you still wish to use that photo we would suggest you select the remove background option leaving only the main subject.
Subject Matter: The main subject of the photo should occupy about 75% of the photo (i.e. - a close up photo). We will crop your photo for you to get the best image possible for your tapestry. If you do not wish for us to crop your photo then please indicate this in your order.
Number of people/pets/etc: For best results the fewer the better. The more faces in the photo the smaller each face will be on the tapestry and the less detail of each face. However, 2-5 faces works well if you are not doing a team photo.
Fancy Stuff: Please do not send photos with borders, fade-outs, snow effects or shadow effects as they will not duplicate well in the pillow.
Can you put more than one photo on the tapestry? Possibly. Please upload your photos and we will contact you. Additional fees may apply for the photo layout work.
Can you put custom text on the tapestry? Yes. Please use the Text option and provide us the text in the Text Box in the order form. Border text is white is usually white when used with a black border.
Digital Photos: We prefer to receive digital photos via email or the Upload Tool since it is much faster to process your order and less expensive for you. It also keeps your photo safely at home with you. For best results the digital scan should be no less than 300 dpi (medium resolution ) at full image size (7" x 9").Do not send 72 dpi (low resolution) images. Digital Photos of 200kb to 2MB size will produce the best result. Cell phone and other low resolution images of 72 dpi will not work well because the resolution is so poor that when the picture is enlarged for the tapestry it becomes very grainy. A JPEG file format is preferred but we can work with most common file formats.

Physical Photos: Physical photos of all sizes will be accepted, but the sizes that make for the best results are 3x5, 4x6, 5x7 or 8x10, the larger ones being the best. Polaroid photos will work, but they are not as clear as traditional photos. For an additional cost we will scan your photo and return it to you. Please send your photo with a copy of your order in a Post-Office approved photo-mailer or equivalent (a hardened type cardboard envelope). This will ensure your photograph does not get damaged in the mail. Be smart and send your photo via registered mail to decrease the chance of your photograph getting lost.

Please Note: we STRONGLY recommend you have your photograph scanned at your local photo store. Then email or upload the digital photo file per the instructions above. This will ensure that you keep the original print. Kid Music can not be held responsible for photographs that are lost or damaged while in transit to or from our production facilities.
Do the photos get returned with the order? Yes. All physical photos are returned to you.
What is the turn around time for shipping of orders? Normal delivery time is 4 to 6 weeks from when we receive your photos and text. If you mail us a physical photo to scan we can not begin your order until we receive your photos.
Can you do rush orders? Yes. Please select the Rush Shipping option. The times shown is the time between getting your photo and delivery of the finished product to your door.
